Fishing isn’t just about casting another line – it’s a whole experience, and Fish The Albemarle is here to offer exactly that!
Here you’ll have access to remote lake waters, including a few honeyholes that only the locals can clue you in on.
These waters are known for Arapaima, Amberjack, Rainbow Bass, White Bass, Black Jewfish, Bluefish, Bohar Snapper, and more – with any luck, it won’t be long before "Fish on!"
On these trips, you can expect to drift and bottom fish using heavy tackle. Capt. Stephen also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
Your fishing vessel will be a 5’ Aluminum fishing equipped with a live bait tank, and other essentials. You’ll have the help of a First Mate on board, and please remember that tips are much appreciated!
Please note that you’re expected to bring your own rod and reel. If you need to rent gear, contact the charter operator ahead of time to find out how. Be sure to ask about bait and lures, as well.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also remember to bring snacks – lucky for you, there will already be some on board!
Your home for the night includes a kitchen, a TV, air conditioning and more to make you feel at home.
You may need to get a local fishing license . You can usually find that information online, or reach out to the lodging coordinator here.
Meals are provided, including snacks as well as drinks, just make sure you know what to expect and communicate any dietary needs.
Lastly, don’t hesitate to get in touch with any questions that will help you pack, including what’s available on site and any essentials you should bring.
Fishing, lodging, and a trip to remember. With Fish The Albemarle, you get the full package!
